Getting Started

Do you service my area?

We currently service the Atlanta, Georgia area and its surrounding areas (within 50 minutes of Metro Atlanta). If you are unsure please send us an email at info@maidinatlantacleaning.com.

Keep in mind this list is always changing, if you are not currently in our immediate service area, please check back with us!

What is included in a standard cleaning?

Below is a guideline for a basic cleaning, but you should talk to your professional about what you would like done within your home.

Bedroom, Living Room & Common Areas

  • Dust all accessible surfaces
  • Wipe down all mirrors and glass fixtures
  • Clean all floor surfaces
  • Take out garbage and recycling

Kitchen

  • Dust all accessible surfaces
  • Empty sink and load up dishwasher with dirty dishes
  • Wipe down exterior of stove, oven and fridge
  • Clean all floor surfaces
  • Take out garbage and recycling

Bathrooms

  • Wash and sanitize the toilet, shower, tub, and sink
  • Dust all accessible surfaces
  • Wipe down all mirrors and glass fixtures
  • Clean all floor surfaces
  • Take out garbage and recycling

Extras (upon request)

For a deeper clean, consider adding one or more cleaning extras. Most cleaning extras add one half hour of time and cost to your booking.

  • Laundry wash & dry
  • Interior windows

The following services are not currently offered:
Exterior window cleaning, Deep stain removal, Infestation, Mold removal, Insect removal.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?

Yes, we bring our own cleaning items unless you personally request otherwise. Each of our cleaners have a checklist of items to bring to ensure a thorough and quality cleaning.

Can I request special tasks or extras?

Yes indeed! If the extra service you would like to request is not listed on the booking page please contact us 24 hours before the cleaning to discuss the special task.

The following extra services are available if selected at checkout: Inside the fridge, inside the oven, green cleaning, inside windows, basement, move in/move out, laundry, and inside cabinets.

Note: To protect the safety of our professionals, we cannot perform the following: cleaning that requires climbing on ladders, exterior windows, mold removal, deep stain removal, insect and pest removal, cleaning pet messes, cleaning blinds, and items that require heavy lifting.

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

Your trust is one of our highest priorities, and we apologize for any incidents. Please report any damage or missing items to our support team using the form below.

We’ll review the information you provide and get back to you shortly. At that time we may request that you submit a formal claim request, including photographs and proof of ownership. Please note, we request that any damaged or missing item claimed be reported within 72 hours of the service’s completion.

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

You can rest assured that your billing information is protected by 256 bit security and all transactions are processed by Stripe who adds a second layer of 256 bit security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system.

Do the cleaning professionals go through a background check?

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointment that are already completed.

What is your 100% satisfaction guarantee policy?

Your satisfaction is our goal. If you’re not satisfied with the quality of the service of one of your maids, let us know and we’ll work to make it right.

The 100%  Satisfaction Guaranteed policy applies if:  

  • The scope of work that you were charged for was not completed to your satisfaction, or your property was damaged as a direct result of the service booked through the Maid in Atlanta Cleaning Service*
  • The service was completed within the past 72 hours.  For recurring services, each appointment is treated as a separate occurrence.
  • Your account is in good standing without unpaid balances

 

*In the event of damage or a missing item, Maid in Atlanta will require documentation to prove value, ownership and damage in order to process the claim

What is your refund policy?

We will fully refund your account if you cancel a booking within 24 hours of your appointment time. A cancellation fee will be applied if cancelled within the 24 hour window. Please contact us for any extenuating circumstances support@maidinatlantacleaning.com
